Aburi Botanical Gardens Aburi is a town north east of Accra, the capital city of Ghana. It is famous for the Aburi Botanical Gardens.. Aburi is home to Aburi Girls Secondary School. A popular female school in Ghana. Aburi has a relatively small population and is headed by the Aburihene (chief of Aburi). The journey from Accra to Aburi is about 45 mins (will be less when the dual carriage road from Tetteh Quarshie Circle to Adenta Barrier is completed by next year.) How to get to Aburi and the Botanic Gardens. It is easy to go by public transport as mini busses or trotros can be boarded at Tema Station in Accra central, or at Odawna station near Kwame Nkrumah Circle, and also at Madina.
Aburi is just 35 Km away from Accra and probably less than an hours drive. |
